Abstract

In order to ensure that the quality of internet service is best for students, it is significant to evaluate the performance of the WiFi-based internet network. The researcher utilizes four parameters of QoS standard ITU, which are throughput, packet loss, jitter and delay as an analysis of Internet Quality Service in order to obtain a clear picture about the performance of internet networks. The research method applied in collecting data is through observation by taking data utilizing internet monitoring tools and then process these data to know the level of throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. The findings from this study can provide a description on the quality of network services for managers on campuses and may serve as guidelines for developing policies related to network services that support both academic and non-academic activities of students.
