Abstrak

Abstract  The use of cloud-based technologies, such as Google Drive, is increasingly relevant in addressing business data storage challenges. This research aims to explore the application of Google Drive as a sales data storage solution in the Republic of Second.id Store. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study involves literature studies, observations, interviews, and documentation to identify needs and constraints and evaluate the effectiveness of Google Drive implementation. The results show that the use of Google Drive improves data management efficiency, security through automatic backup features, and team accessibility and collaboration without the risk of data duplication. However, dependence on internet connections is a major challenge that needs to be overcome. The implication of this research is the importance of utilizing cloud technology to support safer, more efficient, and sustainable data management, especially for small and medium-sized businesses in the digital era.

Abstrak - Pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis cloud, seperti Google Drive, semakin relevan dalam mengatasi tantangan penyimpanan data bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan Google Drive sebagai solusi penyimpanan data penjualan di Toko Republik Second.id. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan studi literatur, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan kendala serta mengevaluasi efektivitas implementasi Google Drive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Google Drive meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data, keamanan melalui fitur backup otomatis, serta aksesibilitas dan kolaborasi tim tanpa risiko duplikasi data. Namun, ketergantungan pada koneksi internet menjadi tantangan utama yang perlu diatasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi cloud untuk mendukung pengelolaan data yang lebih aman, efisien, dan berkelanjutan, khususnya bagi bisnis kecil dan menengah di era digital.
