Abstract

Employees are one of the most important assets owned by a company in its efforts to maintain survival, development, ability to compete and earn profits. The selection process that uses manual methods and is not supported by technology can take a lot of time. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a popular method and can be used to assist decision making by considering factors in one system, so that it can be the right solution for use in a decision support system to determine the best employees at Popaye Futsal. One of the reasons Popaye Futsal was used as a research site was because the owner was very supportive of research and was informed that there had been research on selecting the best employees but still using manual methods, therefore this research on selecting the best employees used a decision support system. There are several criteria used in determining the best employee, namely responsibility, work attitude, discipline, work performance, cooperation, the responsibility and achievement criteria are the biggest weights because these two criteria are very important for the assessment of the selection of the best employee. By using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, it is hoped that it can help Popaye Futsal in making decisions to choose the best employees with predetermined values.
